SusChem Italy analyses national research activities and priorities, linking them to European priorities and initiatives.
SusChem Italy was re-launched in 2014 by Federchimica, the Italian Association of Chemical Industry.

National level objectives
SusChem Italy aims to:
- Contribute to the definition of research and innovation priorities at national and EU level
- Inform on public funds available for research, development and innovation and on what is happening in sustainable chemistry in Italy and the EU
- Promote sustainable chemistry activities through events and publications
- Maintain links with the SusChem network
SusChem Italy’s working groups focus on: energy efficiency, circular economy and substitution of critical raw materials and substances of very high concern.
