The upcoming workshop on “Safety and Sustainability-by-Design (SSbD)” will take place on June 13th, 2024, at the Technical Chamber of Greece, from 09:00 to 17:00 (Greek time), in a hybrid format.
It is co-organized by SusChem Greece, as the Networking Partner in the European project “IRISS-The InteRnatIonal ecosystem for accelerating the transition to Safe-and-Sustainable-by-design materials, products, and processes”, and by the Technical Chamber of Greece.
The purpose of this event is to convene national stakeholders from industry, academia, and policy to discuss the principles and framework of Safety and Sustainability-by-Design. The event will focus on its role as an innovation booster in the development of chemicals, materials, and products, particularly within the three priority value chains for Greece: Chemicals for (i) Construction Materials, (ii) Packaging, and (iii) Fragrances.
