The webinar on the “Roadmap – Towards Safe and Sustainable Advanced and Innovative Materials: Outlook for 2024-2030” will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:30 CEST.
The EU NanoSafety Cluster (NSC) has recently announced the publication of the ‘Roadmap towards Safe and Sustainable Advanced and Innovative Materials – Outlook for 2024-2030.’ This roadmap is the result of a collaborative effort by the NanoSafety Cluster community to provide research directions that will facilitate the development of safe and sustainable advanced materials, building on years of nanosafety research.
The organizers invite you to engage with this initiative and share your insights on the identified knowledge needs in key areas relevant to the safety and sustainability of both nanomaterials and other innovative advanced materials.
Experts will present on topics such as safe and sustainable by design (SSbD), validation, harmonization, standardization, data management, artificial intelligence, governance of safety and sustainability, and communication. Each area will include an overview of the current state-of-the-art, unresolved aspects, emerging issues, and the needs to close existing gaps.
