4th STRATEGIC WORKSHOP: Research and Innovation Policies for a Circular Economy – Trends & Future Outlook

Share

Following the three strategic stakeholder workshops that have taken place since 2014, this will be the fourth and last RECREATE event before the Final Conference. At this workshop we plan to share preliminary project findings and will collect inputs, feedback and opinions from the various groups of stakeholders. In other words, it is the last chance to feed into the project’s outputs that will advise the European Commission on the direction and priorities of research and innovation policies post-2020 in the mentioned fields.

The workshop will run over one and a half days and focus on the following points: (1) Presentation of near-final version of the RECREATE Green Horizons Scoreboard, (2) further development of the RECREATE 2050 scenarios, (3) discussion of mission-oriented R&I policies for Climate Action, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials, (4) presentation and discussion of the latest RECREATE Policy Brief on “Finance and Entrepreneurship in the Circular Economy”, (5) presentation and discussion of RECREATE Evidence-based narratives as an innovative way to support R&I policy-making.
