Mr. Franco earns a degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Florence (Italy) and a post-graduate MBA at the “Scuola Superiore E. Mattei” in Milan. He is married with two children.
With a long experience in the chemical industry, he has in fact worked in different areas such as R&D, Strategic Planning, Marketing & Sales with EniChem and EniChem Synthesis, in Product Development with Henkel, as Business Manager with Great Lakes Chemical Corporation in Milan and in Switzerland and as C.E.O. with Borax-Rio Tinto Italy. As C.E.O. of Borax-Rito Tinto (Italy), he spent one year at Borax world headquarters in Los Angeles.
Since 2002, he has been working in Endura SpA, an Italian Company operating in fine chemicals and biocides, as C.E.O.
He is on the Board and on the Committee of the Italian Chemical Association (Federchimica). He is member of the Italian Industry Association (Confindustria) Committee for CSR and member of the ABM Group at the European Chemical Association (Cefic). He is also Chairman of the American Task Force with offices in Washington DC, for the support and registration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of some active ingredients. Since 2013 is President of the Responsible Care Program for Italy.
